How are the green, yellow, red groups going to be formed ? What will be the criteria to separate people into different groups ? Different experiences and/or combination with power/performance/grip of car ?
Are there blocks of rooms being reserved for group rates ?
Thanks,
Andy

If you have never tracked, do Novice, if you have done 2 events go intermediate, anything more do expert. Groups will not be seperated by HP, etc.. As you might be aware, it's all about the driver, not the car (at least for the most part ;-) )
There will be group ratest too for the hotel. Those will be up shortly.
thanks and great questions by the way!

I have tracked maybe 10 times or so. But, it's been 3 years since the last time (coincidentally, at Thunderhill) and it wasn't in the Porsche.
Are you organizing a caravan up ? or are we just heading up separately and meeting there ? Any kind of 'meet and greet' dinner for the night before ?
Sorry... asking a lot of questions. Been through this before, just wondering what format this will take. Never gone with "this" group :-).
If you don't stop encouraging me, I'll keep asking question! :-)

... any instruction/instructors being provided ?
Are ride-alongs allowed ?
1) Can I bring a ride-along with me ?
2) Are driver's (registered participants) allowed
to ride-along with other registered
participants ?
What will be the passing rules for each of the groups ?
thanks,
Andy

Fred - yes I will have my car there.
Sharky - this could take years and cost millions of lives... I am not sure I ever taught someone with a Tip. Do they even let those out on the race tracks?

That's great guys, thanks for signing up so I get an accurate count. I want this day to be AWESOME!!!! Can't wait to see ONLY p-cars on the track. I hope that the fellow P-Car owners out there show some courage. I don't want to be viewed like those Ferrari drivers that just drive to be seen!

What if we don't get enough people to sign up ? Will the event be cancelled ? Will it be back-filled with 'open registration' ? What is the guarantee that this will be a P-car only event ?
btw... there was a little typo in the original post. The price appears to be $185, not $180. These days... that's about 2 gallons of premium gas, or maybe a single gallon of 100 octane! ;-)
Thanks,
Andy
