Default 996 Turbo Project

So im pretty new to the 996TT world. i have come from a supercharged e60 m5. Picked up my 996 a few weeks ago.
04 36k Miles, X50 with Aerokit.

Done a few changes already

Numeric Shifter it had a cheapo short shift kit fitted before this is night and day

Collected my re-trimmed wheel to match the shift gaitor.

Brakes needed upgrading as they arent great coming from 400mm 6pot brembo setup. So ive started the modifications to fit a 378mm disc from the UK BTCC cars and a 6pot AP Racing Caliper.
currently it has a BMW hub that is away at the moment to get custom bells and brackets.

Welcome. I'm interested to see how the brake upgrade works out as these cars are technically overbraked in the front a bit.

Will the console still fit over the shifter?

my thought on the shifter install exactly. I was considering the numeric also but I am concerned about it fitting under the stock horse shoe and leather shift boot. i don't want to see it, although it is a fine piece of engineering.

The Numeric shifter fits within the dimensions of the factory shift box and can be completely concealed. The CAE shifter is the one that sticks out.
