Too stupid: wrong Bolt removed from Gearbox

I can be wrong or totally off track but I think if you got a rear end accident it will force the gearbox and motor to go under the car.... I just look at the Carrera and it is also there and call it a hook.....

I was thinking that as well, but the angle is backwards. The slant of the hook faces the motor and is right up against it. If rear ended, and the entire engine and gearbox assembly begins moving towards the cabin, the backside of the hook (closer to 15 in diagram) is what will lead. So I went and looked at the chassis while everything is out and wouldn't you know it. A corresponding hook is on the chassis. I guess they interlock (as opposed to sub
