That sounds like about what you are needing. There's got to be plenty of shops that are well versed in doing the GT3 motors and an occasional Turbo for a standard rebuild. When you get into doing a bunch of custom stuff that's when you need one of the "hot girl" builders. For a track motor: CTS, Sharkwerks, GMG, BBi, places like that. Drag motor EvoSpec, Protomotive, AIM. Budget build: Markski.

Understood. #1 is to really figure out if it's possibly the turbo or the engine. IF it's the engine then from what I'm finding out the repair might be 50% or more of the cost of doing a decent rebuild. I wouldn't go huge but moving to 3.8 with stronger parts and some adjustments to the Turbos would be in line with my thinking.

I'm taking the car to BR Racing in Los Gatos CA next week to get another set of eyes on the issue.. Can't be sure without more investigation.
