Quick tip: If you really want the red frunk release lever to look new, use a heat gun to carefully melt the outer layer. It will look new. I did it to mine.

Take care to protect the paint and area around so you don't scorch them as well.

Thanks for the reminder! totally did not think about doing that to the red part. Did on some other black parts, but totally forgot the red one, will definitively try!

 

Tried it today, and the color came back great, but the cracked piece became worse so I made a mess :/ Should work perfectly for a piece in better condition though, thanks for the tip

I managed to get rid of all indentations and marks to make my 991 seats look like new again!

I'm working on a nice lil Arduino project to drive the ventilation fans and heaters on my 991 sport seats. It's been a fun rabbit hole and nowhere close to done lol.
