Quick tip: If you really want the red frunk release lever to look new, use a heat gun to carefully[i/] melt the outer layer. It will look new. I did it to mine.

Thanks for the reminder! totally did not think about doing that to the red part. Did on some other black parts, but totally forgot the red one, will definitively try!

I left a comment on your YT vid about the 991 seats. Definitely want to reuse the 996 latches to avoid the airbag light.
I'm working on a nice lil Arduino project to drive the ventilation fans and heaters on my 991 sport seats. It's been a fun rabbit hole and nowhere close to done lol.
