Is this salvaged 996 a real GT2 or a clone?

I thought about it...

Mine does rather resemble one and is RWD, and couldn't really be described as "just" a 996 Turbo anymore. 😆

The original owner of my car installed OEM carbon fiber GT2 door sills. They are really nice and I want to keep them, but the giant GT2 text is annoying. I've been meaning to come up with a sticker of some sort to cover the text with something more appropriate.

I think I'd do the same, but having a sticker/cover over the "GT2" might bug me. It might detract from the overall look of that nice carbon fiber. But I'd try it and see how it looks before replacing the door sills.
