Replacing clutch in Turbo S, anything else I should do?
The clutch in my 2005 Turbo S cab is starting to slip from 4500 rpm all the way to redline when it’s cold. When the car warms up the slip goes away, but it’s only a matter of time before it’s slipping all the time. Since I’m going to replace the clutch, is there any recommended items is should replace? Thanks ahead of time for the help!

There’s good info in the thread below. I went with a LWF in my TTS. Drop a note to Kevin at UMW as well.

Regardless of that, if keeping it for a few years I'd replace all the coolant hoses, check valves, plastic and rubber tubing, do the alternator's voltage regulator, water pump, serp belt, plugs & coils, reservoir, motor and trans mounts, N75 valve, air filter, MAF, do bigger turbo inlet tubes and pin the coolant lines, get a Tiptronic PS reservoir and remove the unnecessary lines for the GT2 clutch slave, tap the trans bell housing and get GT2 clutch fork/hose/spring/master, and send the trans off to Copans for a looksee while you do this stuff so you can then justify the GT2 main 1/2/3 gearing while he's in there!
Then sell it to me this coming winter

99% of this is in other threads but I'll add one that is rarely on here. Pull the injectors and have them sent off to be professionally cleaned and balanced.

Kinda depends on what has been done already and the mileage?

@911mhawk, I just bought the car and will be keeping it a while, So you may not have a shot at it next winter, but I'll look you up if I change my mind. The dealer I bought it from was nice enough to send me a clutch kit free of charge after I reached out to them after the fact. I will definitely consider the items above.

The to have to top side inspected? Maybe, because you're already going so far, to do some more maintenance work...?
My entire drivetrain package came out, as I understand, if the shop doesn't have the jig to hold the engine in place when removing the gearbox, this is a safer play.
