I have the Markski soft intake pipes. They won't fit?

Marksi tells me that they fit a manual transmission but not tiptronic, I think the problem is next to the CV joints as on a tip the CV is right where the pipes pass through, (tip has shorter drive shafts)
Thanks

Having had both the 6-speed and Tiptronic engines out in the last year, I now understand the ridiculous shapes of the intake pipes. They're made to snugly wrap around the tiptronic. I also would like to find upgrade pipes for Tip cars, it just doesn't seem like there is very much room at all.

In that case go MAFless and run some fender type intakes.

yeah, thanks, that is an option but don't they get filty and dirty very quickly?
I did see a post where someone put a 'U' bend from the Turbo intake to mount a filter on each side above the intercooler, but surely that affects the intercoolers air supply and so cooling effect and would be a devil to seal airtight 🤔

I have a mafless tune from Markski (which I'm very happy with), and this is my setup. I did not cut into the intercooler ducts on mine, so my car just sucks ambient air from under the car (which based on logging I've done isn't an issue as far as affecting intake temps).

I run aftermarket wheels with a much lower offset than the OEM wheels, so I have more room for the pipes on my car but I think factory wheels would fit and not rub as well, but I have not confirmed this.

That looks quite interesting, but I can tell you there's no way those pipes will fit with GT2 size 315/30-18's on stock 18x11 et45 wheels.

thanks Captions, Obvious, Could you please tell me where did you find that setup? Do you have any dimensions or part number for the filters? it does look quite tight in there 👍☺️🇬🇧🇺🇸

IMO Protomotive makes the cleanist/best fitting set up.

Thanks for your input, I have seen these but my fears are how much this restricts Intercooler air flow, in 2 ways,
1 obviously it is located in front of the intercooler so disturbing airflow through the intercooler.
2 the filter is 'sucking' air in so = less air for the intercooler as opposed to full flow to the intercooler.
OR
Do non of my concerns make any difference?
Thanks again 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
