I used to love driving my S4, but the 996 is SOO much better! The S4 may be faster in a straight line, high 12's in the 1/4, but the 996 seems just as fast. The 996 handling is light years ahead of the S4. That's with all the suspension upgrades that it has. For example, on a particular hairpin turn, the S4 is at it's adhesion limits at 40-41mph. The 996 with just the sport chassis does it at 48-49 mph without me really pushing it, may be at 7/10ths.
