At some point you might need to get the car into a shop and on the lift.
Usually the power steering pump and pulley whine are higher pitch.
I'd focus on your exhaust, mounts (engine and tranny)

Thanks @Kevin ! It seems to generate a vibration as well. Super audible when listened to with speakers that have bass.
Sounds like I need to get it into a shop. I've scoured the web, and all it does is lead me to dead ends.
Thanks again!

forgot to ask earlier, but this whirring noise make it seem like your your exhaust drones really really bad?

Yeah sound is there at 2-3500 rpm in neutral, parked, driving. Engine running super strong. But I am nervous that it seems to be getting more prominent. Shop thinks it has something to do with exhaust. I'm going to check a few things this weekend.
I am getting a vibration that seems to correlate.
@krp220 I have a LWFW. Do you?
Also, share a sound clip if you can. These things are most certainly best heard with a desktop speaker setup since it's boomy.

i'm in the Northeast so the car as been put away for the winter, so a video will have to wait until closer to Spring, but the noise i'm getting doesn't happen in neutral.

Obviously don't run it for an extended time with the water pump not hooked up.
