Hello
Hello, I am new to the board and wanted to just say hello to everyone. I am picking up a 2004 seal grey turbo next week. I already have purchased the GT2 kit and JIC Cross suspension in which will be installed ASAP. I am also going to tint the car 35% percent. I just need some help with wheels. I have it narrowed down to five wheels, so I am running a poll. Thank you to everyone who contributes!

since u haven't installed the JIC suspension, please give a second thought on it. ask what u really expect & what's ur driving style.
i voted my favor, but good luck getting those. i'm just happen to stock the very last set in the country. so if u decided to go for them, let me know.
btw, Techart black

Thanks 20C4S, but I have ridden in cars with the JIC and absolutely need it! I am a very agressive driver and have no problem with the JIC specs. I have been looking at the TechArt blacks, but I saw this car on ebay and its kind of turning me off

I know these are the RUF wheels but for some reason doesnt really blend, I think I might need a car with a silver/polished lip with black centers. I got 8k off my Turbo.

i would advise you to reconsider a 19" wheel on your turbo. imo, your ride quality will suffer with no significant improvement in handling. at least find a way to experience 19" wheels on a turbo before plunking down $5k+.
my neighbor lost abot $3k reselling his 19" wheels on ebay after hating the results of the change from 18" wheels. i would confine my choices re: wheels and tires to those listed in christopherous (?sp) every year. pag goes to a lot of trouble to advise us which wheels and tires are best for our cars. i have been pleased with the results of following their advice. it's one of the benefits of owning a porsche.

Extreme,
Hey guy, you've gotten some real good advice here.
*Enjoy your car & congrats (and welcome to the board)
*It's your car (and your wife).
*Possibly reconsider the 19s
Aren't these great boards
And yes, one of the wheels below is a 19, (where my 'possibly reconsider' comment comes from)......and no, I didn't ask anyone what wheels should go on the cars.....some of my freinds say I should have
Give it some thought....Make the car what you want it to be....Trust your instincts.
