Default Service cost

How much should a service that includes engine and transmission fluids and filters cost?

last service was 30K at 30K but that was 2 years ago so even though the car has only 33K miles today, I believe it needs to be serviced.

2005 996 turbo tiptronic S.

Thanks!

I don't think you need to change the transmission fluid after two years and 3K miles.

The extent of the fluids service may or may not include a coolant flush if more than 6 yrs old. This can add at least $250 for fluids and labor. Are you planning to flush all of the Pentosin including steering and clutch as well brake slave/master cylinder fluids. These could easily add another $250.

if it is just engine oil/filter, brake lines and transfluid and diff then under $1000.

Do the Pentosin when the slave/accumulator fails or the PS unit starts whining.
Haven't seen anywhere on a maintenance checklist/schedule from Porsche where they mention any more than checking it. Probably because they knew the other parts seals would fail before the fluid.
It is used in other systems like hydraulic tops where it never gets changed, until of course those parts fail and you need to add some...
