In-car audio that accurately (or even close to accurately really) represents what the exhaust sounds like in person sitting in the car is something my son and I have never been able to successfully record in multiple attempts. The sounds are very difficult to capture accurately. And certainly the reaction one might have to the various sounds/drone exposure during an in-person drive isn't anything an audio recording can accurately convey IMO.

The sound bounce from the structures influences the recording. I'm not saying it is a negative influence, just that I know that my 996 Turbo with Europipe would sound much better to people outside my car driving down the narrow streets of Rome with four and five story buildings on either side than it does driving down the streets where I live.

Outside, with the Speedtech bouncing off the buildings, it reminded me of a helicopter.

'Blasting' to me is using explosives to move otherwise immovable objects, like rock.

"Blasting around" to me means "going fast."
Although "fast" is a relative term, the Lambos and Ferraris I saw and heard on Rome's narrow streets were not going fast. They just kept their cars in first gear to get to higher RPM, and better sound.
Driving my Turbo I can motor around at 25-30 mph in 1st gear and my Europipe makes some really good sound. In a 30 mph or higher speed zone I don't even break the speed limit.

I'm sure that's not what he meant.

I thought you were in Florida? Where are the swamps?
Sounds pretty righteous in the car, weird black circle in view...
