Yeah, I dig that look too... however, the 315 had to ride in the back.

True; along with rocks, street signs and my personal fave, moose.

Dear God...we don't have moose here in the Sierra Nevada's...I'd put the car in a ditch vs. a moose.

The only one I have ever hit was previously hit and lying across the highway in pitch black conditions; when I finally saw it and got on the brakes, I hit it at about 40mph and went airborne (was driving a truck).

Scared me silly, bent a whole whack of stuff, but we made it to Vancouver.

Viva Ford!

you are supposed to take the front tire off first and put the spare on the front and the front tire on the rear. spare tire is too small for rear.

when I removed my HTRZ3s in spring the sidewalls were destroyed. Replaced with Falken, which are nice.

Which Falkens did you go with, the FK510s? Or the more aggressive RT660s?

fk510s, they work well. I don't plan to use these on track though.

Quick update, I have the fk510's on order, and will be running mismatched front/rear until I want the General Max RS's gone in the front.

I'll be sure to update you if I have any issues. Not much grip in the General Max RS's so you might be right, but diameter is identical, even with the 2k I have on the front tires.

I figured, and agreed, they're not for the track. I bought my car back in 2014 and it has FK 452s up front and new 453s out back. PSM wasn't happy, swapped out the fronts for new 453s and all was good for about 6000 miles, but the rears didn't age well and lost grip on my canyon runs well before they were worn. They were a fine street tire, assuming the new 510s will be even better. I'm probably 1000 miles in on the new Contis and they're doing well, quiet, good ride quality, and sticky in the canyons...

I am not a fan of doing that because the rubber is not only from different manufacturers, it will also have different adhesive qualities - so be careful pushing it.
