Default Engine out of car

I have a good friend who has the engine out of his 996TT due to a hydraulic fluid fire. He wants to make sure he takes care of all the necessary parts replacement items you do while an engine is out.
if anyone can chime in to recommend these “prerequisite items”, would be appreciated.

fire was due to a crack in a rigid line between the pump and reservoir. ( two failures in two months). Defective part.

I hate to be "search" guy, but we're starting to see this topic come up pretty often.

Here's another good one: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-turb...-now-what.html
