Default Help with part number for clutch master retaining clip

Hey all,

Quick question. There's a pin that goes between the back of the clutch pedal and the clutch master cylinder. The end of the pin has a groove in it and a gold c-clip holds it in place. I need the part number for the little gold c-clip, if anyone can help me out. I have attached a photo (which is not a 996TT) to illustrate the location of the pin/clip.

Reason - recently did all new clutch, replaced slave and master with updated parts. Was at track and the clip must be falling off because the pin worked its way out a couple times while on track and I got a dead pedal...painful. Was able to put it all back together easily in the paddock. Anyways, last time it happened I was unable to find the c-clip so I need a replacement. Ultimately, I think I'm going to drill a small hole in the end of the pin and put a washer and cotter pin in there for long-term fix, unless someone has a better solution. Thanks!

Below item#1 which is the clutch master cylinder, you got the bolt 996-423-315-06 and just below the safety clip for bolt.....999-166-022-01

Great, thanks for that, I really appreciate it!

I think I will put one of those on for now, but ultimately find just a slightly longer bolt and have that hole drilled for washer/cotter pin.

Well, I decided to just go ahead and have a machine shop drill a hole in the bolt, and then was able to mount it with both a locking ring as well as a hairpin. I had to trim the hairpin to fit...in the photo it is untrimmed. That should keep the sucker on there.

I still appreciate the help with the part numbers!
