Dead battery how to open hood?

The system I set up for the jump point with the trickle charger was ghetto at best dangerous at worst. I used some spare copper speaker wire and pushed it into the positive and negative side of the trickle charger connections. I then taped the negative side to the door hinge and the positive side to the jump point. It did not work...
Use a spatchula or a wire hangar lol.

Alright, well I'm a moron and forgot to plug in my trickle charger for a few weeks... AND the battery is dead.
I was able to pull out the jump spot but I don't have jumper cables. I tried rigging something up with my trickle charger terminals but that didn't seem to work. A 9v definitely doesn't work so not sure what that guy was talking about there...
Any other home hacks to get power to make the stupid hood pop? I don't have space on the right side to pull a wheel off the way I parked and I don't have a jack at the moment anyway ha.

plus2 on fpb111's advice which is the last place you can access any "manual" cable. this at least will let you access that "jump" spot in the engine comp behind the airbox.
....and once you've sorted this all out. really a wise pre-emptive measure ( well, live and learn lol ) is to "re-route" the front cable so it lays just inside the passenger side headlamp enclosure. had you done this before, you would have been able to pop the frunk instantly with little more than a tug on the hidden and recessed - re-routed cable - with a needle nose plier.
i too learned the "hard way" long ago and now - i wont go anywhere without my ctek 3300 and my re-routed cable lol. GL with it.

My trickle charger doesn't have clamps. Well, it does but I don't use them. Want to guess where they are?
I literally always plug the car in but with the new garage I tried backing in for the first time and just completely forgot.

Order that and keep in car or whatever manufacturer tender you have.

Regular jumper cables or any decent size wire you can use to hook to another vehicles battery.
Connected one side to another vehicles battery, second side ground to door hinge bare metal and hot to the pull out post. Standard jump warnings apply... If not obvious, you are NOT trying to jump start the car this way, only connect it so you can pop the frunk.
Also, a small 12V lawnmower or motorsports battery will have plenty of juice as well. Or any jump box. Chargers typically do NOT work, even if they have clamps.
Once your frunk is popped, you can jump start the car or trickle charge the battery.
If you have no loose 12V battery, no jumper cables, no jump box, and can't get to your frunk pop wire, you are likely going to have to rectify at least one of those issues! lol..

I use this one. I think it's a different brand, looks exactly the same.

One start maybe. Jump boxes for our cars are meant to be to open hood when batt dies.
If you have an agm battery its sorta hazardous to jump them, and might screw the electrical system up. Best thing to do is connect the jump starter and turn the car into on mode and let the jump starter drop a charge into the battery for a bit then start it.
