I've never heard a thing. I'm not sure you're traction limited with a rear engine rear drive vehicle and there are other unlimited suspension modifications to make regardless.

I was going to do that. Figured there is some want for this and maybe someone knew of something. I’m not a betting man but I will put down $1 that there is still no LSD for tiptronic folk.

You really want one, they are excellent in our cars - might be worth the effort to revive the concept and go back to them and see how many folks they would need to do a production run.

They're engineers, I cannot see them not wanting to engineer something that may sell.

I guess this week I’ll be sending them an email.

Yessir, no harm in trying, especially since someone else already started, so there has to be a bit of engineering on this already.

I plan on picking up a 996TT Cab with auto and would love an LSD for it. These cars really need one, that's for sure. SOOOO much better with one.

And so the wheel start spinning again. I'm going to attack this a little different than how it was intended before and see if this can be successful. Going to send some hardware to Quaife and then get quotes for different batch sizes. I feel there is a market for this (might not be huge) but enough to support several batch runs. If we get some on the market and get positive reviews (as I expect) I feel others on the fence for this will jump on the wagon.

After a few runs, burn the plans and destroy the tooling, and make these LSDs rare to drive up the price (JK...).

I like the way you think...

Especially about destroying the tooling.

Finding a tip for parts will be hard. Apart from the housing are the tips internally the same for the 996/997.1 turbos and the 996.2 c4 the same?

Isn't it the same part as a Mercedes Benz 722 tranny?

^ Yes.

Finding one with a Porsche transaxle bolted onto it for a test build will not be too difficult.
