Default Got my 2005 Turbo S cab TODAY!!!!

It was actually quite dirty so I took it for a drive of course. First time I ever drove a tip. Not sure about it.. kept reaching for the clutch and shifter...
Build sheet says 18" GT3 wheels. They are OK but I think I prefer sport designs or the Turbo Techno. I have Sport designs but I think I'll look for the Technos. The previous owner put an old Sirius tuner in it. I have no desire so I might pull and put a cubby in there. It is missing the Turbo S emblem on the carbon batwing where they put the Radar detector instead. Bummer $150 from SuncoastIt has COBB tuning package HOLY CRAP IS THIS THING FAST!!!!!!

I was looking at that one for awhile. But I bought one a little closer to home.
ive had mine for just over a month now.
Cobb tune on mine also 05 cab with a tip.
And to think people say the tip cars aren’t quick.
Oh yeah I was looking for a clutch pedal for a few days but now I’m use to it and loving the tip.

When I had a tip the most annoying thing about it would be clicking one of the buttons when maneuvering in a tight space kicking the car into manual mode when I wanted it to be in automatic. Paddle shifters solve this issue. If you’re handy it shouldn’t cost you more than $400 for a good condition non tiptronic steering wheel and amg paddle shifters. I have spare low mileage steering wheel and the paddle shifters if you’re interested.

I have been considering that! How much you want for them? I am going to give it a few weeks to really decide. One of the things I'm noticing is I'm missing the sweet note of the PSE in my C4! The Turbo seems to drone rather than have a sweet growl. My GF noticed that also today with the top down and going under bridges. Went to Coffee and cars at the Porsche dealer this morning. MANY more other cars than Porsches showed up.

Car is kind of janky squirelly. Maybe I need a 4 wheel alignment. Fronts are wearing on the ouside so maybe tires also. Dont wnat to put too much into her until I decide to keep her!

Yeah, my car came with a terrible alignment, I crabbed home from SoCal and knew right away what my first order of business should be. Fresh tires and a good alignment will be night and day difference!

I had some of that at 109K miles. New inner & outer tie rods, top hats and wishbones calmed it right down.
