All that power to rear wheels.....and they let anyone buy it. Status is nice, but I think that a car like that should REQUIRE additional training at the buyers expense. If you don't know the limits in a controlled environment, your ego will find them in an uncontrolled environment. Just my 2 cents, and it is my humble opinion, no flames please.

the GT2 gear ratios are the same as on the regular 996, at least through 4th gear. i saw a car and driver where porsche rented the daytona track as a publicity event and they showed the inside of the car as the porsche factory driver took it around the track. he was driving it hard, taking it up to red line constantly, and the speedometer/tach showed that he was shifting at the exact same RPM/MPH ratio as i do in my 2001 C4. i can only say this through 4th gear because he never red lined it in 5th gear, and never even got into 6th.

The ImagineAuto Tippy underwent an atinks diet and comes in at 3320 pounds with gas... Will be less soon I believe;P

well, i don't think i saw the guy redline it in 1st gear since he was on a track, so that may be true. but he did redline it in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and the RPM/MPH ratios were the same as in my regular old 996.

that's a new one. A visual confirmation of gearing ratios. IMHO that is not going to be accurate enough.
