Somewhat annoyingly RM European doesn't stock the #16 valve or the venturi tube. So now I either need to pay a bit more and deal with ECS Tuning, or order directly from Sunset Porsche and pay shipping charges.

How much is the shipping charge?

Probably not all that much, it's just annoying to have to pay it when multiple vendors offer free shipping and the parts pricing is similar.

The higher unit price at ECS Tuning may offset the shipping charge from Sunset.

RM European is far less expensive than Sunset for the check valves. They just don't have the #16 valve or the venturi tube, which is looks like Sunset will have to order as well. So looks like I'll order from multiple vendors...

I think I ended up buying the venturi tube at the local Porsche dealer, Stevinson, as none of the parts discounters i typically order from had it. Can't remember the price. Don't recall where I got the #16 check valve from, might have been Stevinson as well.

Stevinson's prices are pretty high, but if you ask them nicely they sometimes (begrudgingly) will give you a PCA discount making it merely overpriced, instead of ridiculously overpriced. But no shipping...

FCPeuro.com is my other go-to supplier.

Pelican Parts is now ECS Tuning. Just like Turner Motorsports is now ECS Tuning.

Yes but they've been bought our by ECS, same as Turner.

Hopefully Amazon buys ECS, then all these places will get you stuff a day later with free shipping baked into your TP and dog food prices. Last summer I ordered some BMW spacers from ECS and it took a week. Sonnen gets my vote for P parts. Thanks for the education on supplier consolidation, now zip tie your rubber lines.

again, thanks. im a cpl hours away from pelican so as long as they pay my shipping and dont mess up my orders? im good with whoever owns them.

i did used to appreciate those "all in "kits" that ecs offered for tune up's etc. not sure i ever saved any money, but it was "one click" ordering lol

Great thread @pfbz I look forward to the two-step testing you recommend (intercooler inlets first, the Y after that).

I'm going to follow these steps. This thread should be pinned!

Bumping this thread. Thanks for the write-up. I never thought about using that Jaco gauge for boost leaks, I always used the compressor to regulate the pressure, but using the gauge seems way better.

My question is, are T-Bolt clamps better to use for this application (pre and post turbo), or should I stick with the oem types when I replace mine?
