Default 6 piston upgrade and dampers?

hey guys, I’m about do the full front rear upgrade for my car. Pccb 6 piston/4piston 350mm steel f/r. Do I need the dampers or can I run the pads without them? Sorry if it’s a stupid question, I’ve just never had to do brakes on my car and never had any experience with them. Using oem pads.

I won’t be using the pccb rotors, I will be using the pccb calipers.

which pccb calipers? I’ve been using p90 yellows with 350 giros. Originally had them but tried them wit out and haven’t looked back. Much better pedal feel once brakes are up to temp.

If you want to run the factory solution get the pad dampers.. If you are tracking your car and swapping pads>>many run without them. I run the pad dampers on my cars..
He is running the 996TT PCCB calipers with 350mm steel rotors.

I believe the pad dampers address harmonic noise... and how much noise you would have without them depends on your pad choice, rotors, driving style, etc.

Short answer, pad will stop fine without dampers but you might get more brake squeal.
