I bought my car almost 5 years ago from a Mercedes dealer. They had no idea the car they had and I traded a 996 C2 for it. Got 25K for the C2 and paid 24K for it. Same year, traded my Ram 1500 in for 31K that I bought for 30K. I had a good year for vehicles. Still my favorite cars will always be my 1969 W30 and my 1984 928. For now my loves are my modified 951 and my 996TT.

You did great work getting that deal, but I think it is important to give these specifics when posting purchase price information in threads like these. A lot has changed price-wise in the past five years.

The car is great at that price, you won’t lose on it, and all the minor imperfections are just that, minor...

I walked away from the deal, just didnt rub me the right way, and it gives me the opportunity to go for more of a drivers car with higher mileage.

Thank you all for your input, highly helpful!
