Default PPI in Albany NY suggestions

Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend a place to get a PPI done for a 996TT in Albany NY area?

Thanks. I actually already spoke to them earlier today. How thorough was the PPI? Seems their basic PPI costs $340, but boost leak and compression testing sets it closer to $700. Is that what you had done?

They were good to deal with when I purchased my 996tt from another dealer. I had the full leak down/compression done as it had just got new turbo's so I wanted to make sure it was not hurt from being a big turbo setup. Turns out the PO just never got into boost so the WG's froze up.

I believe the technician I dealt with was Mark, very good and turned it right around. I am about an hour and a half east if you need a second set of eyes.

Thanks. I wouldn't feel comfortable asking a fellow rennlister to drive 1.5 hours to check out the car. Honestly, I'm not even ready to jump another 996tt. Mine was just declared totaled last week and still haven't gotten over it.

This 996tt is priced really low, and only had two owners, and looks very clean. Pretty basic though and higher mileage compared to my previous 996tt.

Thanks. Yup, I'm on Vortex. How can you tell? You came across my insurance thread?

Thanks. Been meaning to make a thread about here. Still really bummed out about the accident. Put a lot of work into that car for the last 2.5 years I owned it. Not really eager to "jump" into another toy car but just found one that is somewhat interesting. Much higher mileage then my was but for the right price, why not.

I'm in Albany and I'll look at it for you. Is it the black one at Keeler BMW? R&d is the local porsche shop for a ppi
