Default 2003 tt clicking noise

I have a clicking noise every time I accelerate, forward or backwards. I does not sound like it is coming from the brakes. I sounds more like the middle of the rear of the car. It is everytime I torgue the car a bit. Any thoughts?

Yes would like to have more info. I have lifts at home and can do this. Want to be sure I do not need any special tooling.

No special tools needed. Drop the belly pan and it is right there. Replacement is similar to a universal joint.
