I'm a big fan of the fixed GT2 wing on the 996tt

The source of the fire was a tire failure that resulted is some rubber coming in contact with the exhaust. The car sat for several minutes off track before the fire started, which is part of the reason that it got out of hand.

The GT2 deck/wing looks fantastic, but it sounds like you want something more track focused. In that case I'd go with the RS wing or go big with a 63" blade like I see some here have.
I currently have a GT2 style blade on the stock uprights and it looks good but doesn't provide the DF I want on the track. I just bought an RS style (not real) deck/wing with adjustable uprights to replace it. I haven't put it on the car yet but I'll be running it next season. Just by looking at it you can tell it's more serious than the gt2 setup.
Go big or go home IMO.

So I had an engine fire a couple of weeks ago while at Road Atlanta and the hydraulics were damaged. Want to replace with a GT3 RS style wing or something similar that gives actual downforce. Looking for suggestions, pricing, and driving impressions from some of you have done this already! TIA!

Shown below is the Getty decklid, 63" CF wing blade, and RS uprights. I track it, and the wing makes a huge difference.

Sorry, should have been more specific. Uprights are from Demon Motorsports, not factory RS. The Getty uprights are short and makes wing sit well below roof line. These have a bunch of adjustment holes so pitch is very adjustable.

Based on his post, I'm pretty sure the OP is looking for a track wing and not a street wing. The Getty 63" wing is the only real option out there. With the right prep, quality of the decklid is on par with OEM and the wing is close to it. A great product overall which doesn't break the bank and does legitimately work. I wouldn't put it on a street car but for a track car it's really the only functional option and I actually think it looks pretty decent. The decklid air intake design uses ram air to "pressurize" the airbox at speed which certainly can't hurt. Great product overall. I would get the decklid in FRP and the wing in carbon. I added an OEM 997Cup gurney flap for a little more DF.

Looks right at home on a street car IMO
