Not sure if this has been seen here before. Cool video.....if not a little goofy.

I watched this fellow and the saga he went through with a 996 Carrera, into which he swapped an LS motor after absolutely gernading the stock mill.

He also then kept in it at the track after losing oil pressure w/ the LS. I'm gonna pass on giving him any more views.

I’m all for these videos, they make the 996tt relevant among the uneducated masses and in turn drive the price up. That being said Trump needs to issue one of his emergency texts stating what the diff between mk1 and mk2 headlights.

I think looking like an aw-shucks dimwit is just his gimmick, and in reality he bought that 996 with the intent of blowing it up and doing the LS swap. More clicks for that kind of drama than just the usual generic 996 owner type videos. (That said, I think the LS eating itself was just bad luck.)
Not sure what the AdSense angle is on this Turbo, seems like a solid enough car.

If you think he’s dumb you don’t understand the economics of YouTube for content creators. He bought that 996 C2 specifically to drive it until it grenades, because that’s good “TV” and gets clicked. As Atrox observes, these videos help the “996 Turbo brand” immensely, exposing the car to a whole new generation who perhaps like the headlights and interior after the old guard dismissed it. Is it smart to keep driving a vehicle when it loses oil pressure? No, but he knew that would get clicked and get him paid.
