Default Rare failure - oil leak

After getting my K24s rebuilt, with the car back together, the shop called and said there was a low-temp oil leak that disappeared once the engine was warmed. Did I want to pick up the car or go back into it?

Well, I like my Porsches dry, so I asked for a diagnosis. it's a failed metal/viton gasket between the oil galley & camshaft housing (if I understand correctly) Factory-trained tech said the leaking cold that stops when warm is something he's never encountered on a Turbo. Lots of hours to access & fix. So engine out, and a while-you're-in-there pinning job... Not a happy event for my bank account*, but at least I'll have my car back!

* Much happier event for my shop.
