Default BBi built monster

Here is a great video of a BBi built GT2. I've seen this car in person before I knew what it was all about, and was mesmerized by that rear suspension.

Makes for a difficult touring car...

Beautifully made, though.

So how much would it cost to put that one back to stock?

I wasn't entirely serious.

So another one bites the dust...

this car was on eBay a few months ago...I think they wanted around $130K-ish reserve? No Sale.

#1... amazing build. Oozes quality. The suspension is cool but seems a bit over the top but who cares. It looks badass

#2... LOL! At the 25:28 mark where he starts the car and it smokes because well... there was someone watching and it was on camera

IMO it does not look "bad a$$".

Different strokes for different folks...

I can't help but think that it looks like a bunch of added weight.

I was thinking that too - I do not know what those shocks weigh, but my bet on the structure to support it is in the 90 - 100lbs + range, not to mention whatever else was done below the car. The other thing I noted was the actual mounting point at the bottom of the strut, although beautifully made, seems a little delicate for something that could potentially be thrashed on a track, or even aggressive street driving.

I am also thinking that it will be pretty noisy in the cabin - there is a reason suspension is usually on the outside...
