Washer bottle removal 05' tts
Baffled on the removal of leaking washer bottle remove. No Headlight washer option.
Removed LF wheel
Removed well covers
Removed all fasteners from washer bottle
The unit has multiple fill and outlet hoses topside and not accessible
This unit seems like it was installed when the car assembled.
If I just pry it out, no way to reconnect the concealed attachments.
Anybody removed these?
I researched the job, but cannot determine if it is worth the work.
Thanks for any ideas...

Yes, I removed one on my trackday car a few weeks ago. What a difficult and tight spot. Be sure to pull out the filler neck first, of course. After that, just disconnect lines (I had to cut mine as the push in connectors were so rusted), unscrew the mounts and try to work it past the inner fender lip. If needed, I have some spare parts. All of the 3 pumps were rusted and frozen/leaking. I think that the tank is intact; as is the filler neck. Good luck!

Thanks gtred, the filler neck removal was easy; all the hoses disconnect and got the plugs off. The whole thing is very clean, so the bottle came out like you said.
My leak was a seized/leaking washer pump. The smaller one. Pelican Parts $19.

Sorry krazy, I noticed the car has HL washers. Discovered that when I replaced the seized pump.
The larger pump feeds the HLW, and the smaller one does the WS.
Since this car never runs in the rain, the pump never got used.
Looks like HLW are standard on the 996tts
