What is the difference between the 997 6 piston brakes and the 6 piston brakes that came on pccb optioned 996’s?
Rear calipers are different. The calipers in this thread are 997TT red calipers but repainted yellow. The 997TT PCCB front calipers are different than the ones in this thread as they use 380 rotors. Lots of other small differences depending on which application the calipers are used for. Generally the GT versions are more desirable as they have OEM Brembo rebuild kits available while the TT versions do not. The 997.2GT/Cup versions also have different size pistons and composite thermal insulators that are lacking on their 997TT cousins.
Yellow looks good with seal grey!

Great info, but to further the question, is there really no functional difference in the fluid plumbing from steel to pccb calipers? I would expect pccb moves less fluid than the steel due to the reduced wear / force needed?
Or am I wrong?
