What Car to add or replace the 996 turbo?

997 is too close to 996 in my eyes but a 991tt would be great for a DD, just out of budget right now.
Not looking to substitute, they are 2 completely different types of cars. Having a different feeling car to split track time with the turbo would be fun and cost less because Chevy miles are much cheaper. A better drivers seat and I'd be done with mods, LoL...
Lots of cars cost about equal to some new mods I'm considering so the practical part of me wants to just stop where I'm at with the turbo and get an addition, just need more garage...

We talking add or replace? Budget? I've been thinking about this a lot lately. For muscle cars a Shelby GT350 has a lot more appeal than the Camaro for me currently. Another car I've liked the idea of picking up is a B7 Audi RS4 (2007/8). I'm afraid it might cost more to run than even the Turbo though with the carbon cleaning, expensive brakes, etc.

I tried an late model 500 HP american muscle car for a while in between my Cayman S and my Turbo, it did nothing for me... Fun for a few weeks, then I was scanning classifieds to get back in a P-car.

Come on guys, there should be no discussion of “Z28 or ZL1”. They’re hideous gas guzzlers and only capable of driving on straight roads. The list goes on..
Consider an MB 500E/E500 or 325iX if you’re looking to add. Good investments and fun to drive.

I love big V-8's, even spanked a couple at the track today, the new GT-350 and a C7 vette. The looks and sound of the GT-350 are great, but they're $50k.
Those RS4's are very cool and haul ***, buddy of mine has one and it's been pretty cheap on him, but our good friend is an Audi specialist too.
I had a A6 Avant that drove great after I put all new suspension in but the newer Audi's are a bitch to work on and have some spendy issues.

I’m wrestling with the same question as I’m starting to think that the time has come, although my car has been the best I’ve ever owned.
I think that anything older older than a 991 Turbo isn’t different enough to change to. Maybe a V10 R8. Maybe a new NSX. I’m also thinking a 997 GT3 or maybe a 991.1 GT3.
But its a tough call. The 996turbo is so cheap and so good that whatever you move to is going to be of lower value. Plus, unlikely that the 996 turbo will cost you anything in depreciation from here.

No no no. The Z28 is a track beast. I have a GT350, and it's a phenomenal car to drive on track. It corners like a marvel.
