Bilstein PSS9 owners: How much stiffer than stock? Install time?

I am contemplating purchasing the Bilstein PSS9 for my turbo. How much stiffer is the ride versus stock in its softer settings? Is this a good setup for a street car? If not, can you recommend a better package?
The car is primarily used as a daily driver and will see maybe 2 to 3 track events and a couple of autocrosses a year, so track use is definitely minimal. My primary reason for the suspension change is to improve asthetics as well as handling performance, but not sacrifice considerable ride compliance.
Also, how many hours labor are involved for the installation? I have been getting a wide range of estimates.
Thanks in advance.

Cerberus-
Coilovers are generally 40-45% stiffer than stock. These are intended for street and light track usage so a comfortable ride quality is a part of the design as well.
We charge 5 hours for the install and our labor rate is $75 per hour. A four-wheels alignment is additional.
We are currently running a special on PSS9's, $2395 plus shipping and handling.
If you have any more questions, call or email me.

I went from stock to RoW to PSS9's and the difference from stock to RoW in ride comfort was noticeable but minimal and then the PSS9's were actually more comfortable than RoW but the handling became much more precise and alot of the front end float was gone and the turn in was much sharper. I was looking for a comfortable ride and the PSS9's are for me the perfect combination of ride comfort and precise handling.

If your car has more than about 20K miles on the current dampers, they're probably dead or dying. PSS9's will be a great upgrade and anyone who would even contemplate taking their car to the track would not be unhappy with the ride.

Just had my us pss9 installed yesterday from West End Alignment. Dropped the car to euro spec, only about 3/4 of an inch in front. Nose down 1 degree from rear. Settings on 4 all the way around. Car is not near as harsh as stock. The ride appears to be much smoother over bumps. Less bouncy. Almost to nice. Need to do some mountain driving to see how it handles before I make any adjustments. I will install H&R swaybars front and back. They are due out in spring.

This is very helpful as I just ordered my PSS9 (US). I heard Johnson's in LA (hawthorne or something like that is the place to go). I will look into West End as well. I ordered my coilovers from rennsport.com for $2250 + $35 shipping and I should be getting them tomorrow. I found them on the classifieds/pulic on this forum. They said they had plenty in stock. Sam@rennsport.com was really nice and helpful. I can't wait to get these coilovers on.

Darrin at West End Alignment was the main man for Johnson's Alignment. He opened his own shop. He is the one to go to, to have the work done. Steve at Johnsons may have other people doing the work. Darrin does the work himself. He is a very nice man, and will explain everything to you.

What is the number for west end alignment? OI have the H&R coilvers and I am considering changing as the ride hhiegth is too low in front and they creak a little bit. Great for the track, but not everyday use.

Can I keep the ride height and just get a stiffer ride with adjustable suspensions like PSS?
I will not be able to get in and out of our driveway if the car is any lower than stock.
