And the dollar vans, and the uninsured drivers, and the potholes, and the car on cinder blocks if you left it parked on the street overnight (not a Porsche, thankfully). I miss the food but not much else.

You can get your parts from either suncoast porsche or pelican parts.
I had a similar experience with my Turbo, where PO decided to lower the car with H&R springs but didn't replace OEM shocks or any other parts.
By the time I got the car, everything needed replacing except the springs. I went with a set of Bilstein B8's and OEM top hat bearing, hardware, bellows, bumpstop.
Next on the list will be Tarett Camber plates for the fronts.

Good Luck, and don't feel bad, car will feel much much better afterward.

Are you looking for a top strut mount?

Thanks everyone for chiming in. Update, I ordered the strut hat and bearing from Pelican. (OEM). I installed the parts today but, Sad to report the noise is still there. I kinda of knew because, the strut hat looked good as well as the bearing.

Anyone have any ideas? Car looks great in the garage but, it would better going down the road.

Thanks in advance!

I have the exact same issue coming from the passenger side. I bought the top hat but have not installed it yet. Waiting for the garage to warm up a little. Do you have any other issues? Loose battery / mounts? Mine has a bastardized mount in the car that I suspect has a loose bolt underneath the tray. My gas tank leaks when the tank is full, do you have that problem?

I thought it was the top hat because when I jumped up and down in the frunk, I could replicate the noise in time with the flexing of the top hat. I am a little dismayed if replacing that part did not cure your problem.

I put a jack under the lower A arm with the bleed on the jack slightly opened so I when pumped the jack the strut would go up and down and the noise was duplicated. I'm was convinced I found the culprit. Not so after replacing the hat and bearing.

I don't have any other issues.

Shame I have the car two weeks now but, only driven two days. I'm bummed and frustrated!

I checked the strut when I replaced the hat and bearing, all good.
Thanks for replying!

How did you check it? Did you fully compress and decompress it under load at a high rate of speed?

Did you check the sway bar mounts and drop links? Put a wrech on all the securing nuts and torque them. Did you check the tierod end to see if that was binding?

You wrote you checked the lower A arm so if it isnt those mounts and not the sway bar or tierod what else is left? The strut itself.

Did your car come with a 4 spoke steering wheel? that is odd on a 996 turbo. here they all had the 3 spoke which is a major improvement btw.
