New Stereo System...Pics Taken @ Reus...
Finally Picked Up My Car Today @ Reus...
After hearing the new stereo system... I can only say one word...
"Amazing..."
It sounds better than the nakamichi Sound Space 12 system I have at home...
And nevertheless, this is not even to the very 100% of the system's capability... b/c I have the pioneer head unit, which they claim to be not as good as the eclipse.... and the quality is at maximum of its 60% output...
But I'm truely amazed already...
Here are the pics...
The Front Trunk is Customized...
3 Amps enclosed under the board...plus 1 Sub...
They customized it for it to have a quick release function.
That means when I'm going to track, I can take out all three amps + 1 huge sub in less than 1 min. (around 40 lbs I think)
It Still leaves me enough space for an Ikea box of CD's (on top of the shelf, around 20+ cd cases), and storage for tools with a bottle of 0W-40
Here are the 2 Rear Sub...8inch each...
Here is the new GT3 Console Delete Kit with my new Pioneer Head unit...
I have XM, DVD Nav, MP3, DVD player and TV tuner all installed...
And it's touch screen and voice controllable...^_^
Here is the new GTS kit... I'll try to take some outside pic on my way to SF...^_^ along with Endra and Fred's car...
Hope you guys enjoy it...
All speakers are custom made by Reus...
I've listened to Reus' custom made speakers... in direct comparison to MB Quartz, and Focal at their Shop...
MB and Focal speakers sound nice, really refined... but Reus' Speakers are just way better... with such rich sound...

Congrats on enhancing your beautiful car with even more beautiful sound! I too am a Reus convert, and nothing else will ever be installed in my cars so long as I can continue to afford Reus' systems.

Very well done. Weight considerations and weight balance (front to back and side to side) aside, I am, however, always concerned for safety when I see electrical equipment on top of and next to the fuel tank. In the case of certain types of crashes, such equipment could either be pushed into the fuel container and/or sparks therefrom could ignite surging and/or leaking fuel -- in either event presenting a condition not hospitable to the occupents.

I have not heard Rick's entry level "enhancement system" as he calls it, but he says that it rounds out the sound very well. I don't want to make a mis-statement, but I believe that the enhancement system includes an amp, extra tweeters, and a woofer, leaving your stock speakers as the midrange.
Depending on the car, I think it ranges from $1100 - $2000, but again I could be wrong.
