Default Wheels that make you go WOW??

I love my car, it's an 02 Arctic Silver Turbo in pristine condition. Bought the car from a fellow member 3 years ago who maintained it meticulously and I've carried on the tradition. The only thing that bothers me is its rather plain. Except for the yellow calipers and CF aftermarket spoiler the car basically stock. Looking for suggestions for aftermarket wheels to make it stand out. Also looking at lowering the car about an inch for a more aggressive stance. So let's here those wheel recommendations.

Here's one of my favorites a HRE Classic 300 set (3-piece), one of my favorite designs on this 996 in Gloss Gold:

Get some 9&12 x18 and run 245/40 & 315/30 and you'll have good % for the AWD and more tire choices.
If your budget allows for forged wheels get ahold of Pwdrhound, he set me up twice and knows what works well.

Default Wheels

Here is mine. I have no idea the brand, however they look custom built. These wheels get a lot of looks.

I would be willing to part with them as I have returned to stock.

Those look like like Modulare wheels, custom configured.

I heard this was the the whoring-out-your-HRE's thread?

Finding tires is difficult, but I still like the idea of sticking w/ 18's.

And TBH, as these cars start to become more classic, I'm really starting to love the look of the stock twists.

These are some great options. And exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks. Will post once the decision is made. Keep them coming but I do like Manimal's and HRE_Jurrian's wheel choice. Oh the dilemma....

I have over 80+ finishes that you can select! You can select any of our finishes that you would like on each part of the wheel so you can have the outer lip done in one finish, the inner barrel done in another finish, and do the center/face of the wheel in a third finish. You can also designate the color of the 3-piece hardware that you see as well

Click the link here - http://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/classic-series/300 and scroll to the middle of the page and you'll see some examples of some of those finishes. If you see any particular color in there you like I can PM you some more examples of that finish in larger photos.

Those do look badass. Love the depth of the convex/concave faces.

I wish there was a way to make the front baskets more concave like the rears.

It's not but it sure does seem to be turning into that huh? That's what happens when you become the industry standard
