I am the second owner, but bought my car when it was 3 years old and only had 275 miles on it. So while I'm the second owner I have put pretty much all the miles (56K) on the car that it has. It took a long time to get the oil consumption down after I bought it; I suspect the engine had been run at idle periodically over the 3 years the first owner had it. At about 10,000 miles it was still using a fair amount of oil so I embarked on a campaign of running the engine as hard as I could on the street in order to seat the rings - and it worked. Oil use dropped dramatically, and has stayed down ever since. What a great car!!
