Default 996 Turbo in Chicago - anyone know?

I'm looking at a black/tan 996 turbo at a dealership in Chicago.

Says it had six owners.

Does anyone know this car?

Plan on getting PPI... Thanks!

If its the same car it might be local and was for sale here this summer, not sure if he sold/traded it; but might be it?

https://rennlist.com/forums/996-turb...33k-miles.html

Which went up for sale here: https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...l#post14191174

It did sell (maybe traded in?) and he did put stock exhaust back on... so it might be it.

Alex is a nice guy, met him a few times and talked cars/996turbo. Outside of that I know not much about the car beyond his ad.

Good luck!

Something funky about the wheels in the pictures shown... They don't look like original turbo twists, and the center caps aren't the gold centercaps shown in the previous owners for sale thread.

I think it might currently be on knock-off turbo twists. Might double check and adjust price accordingly.

I don't think there Sport Techo's, but either way, definitely not the same wheels it had when it was for sale on Rennlist a few months ago. I'm thinking aftermarket replica wheels, not OEM. Make sure they are the right width and offset if they are aftermarket.

You're right on the wheels.

I'm not messing with this.....salesman sounded like a Dick. Saying that we needed to agree on price before he would allow PPI from Loeber Porsche.

I would try and figure out how this is at a Lexus dealer two months after a private sale on RL before I went further with this one.
