Default People running NT01's_are they this noisy?

I know they are noisy....but I am never outside the car....and these NT01s have high pressure and are rolling on the Mustang steel drums.
Or.....am I hearing something else here?
Obviously this is not a power run....we were just setting up and noticed the noise......ran up a couple gears and then just put her in neutral.

I find them not to be overly noisy compared to other R compounds.

Hard to say from the video what is making what sounds but they are not quiet. First time driving on the highway with them I thought my door or window was partially open and I was hearing wind noise but its just the tires.

they are "noisy" compared to ps2/3's or a p-zero, but quiet as compared to say, a toyo r888. they are not half bad and cheaper than any "n" rated, by far. you want "noise"?

try running toyo r888, and you'll swear a wheel bearing was shot.

Thanks for the feedback fellas.
I have been running Nt01's for the track for several yrs....have become accustomed to their sound....but the tuners stopped when they heard what's on the file....apparently thinking it was gear box related.

I'll drive to my tuner today...take the car out....hear for myself. Timing is bad since all was set for it to be on the track tomorrow. Now I'm just trying to keep Labor Day Weekend on my schedule.

I've never thought they were noisy. I've ran three sets on my c2.

I've not found them excessively noisy. Here is a pair of worn NT01s on the rollers. Your audio clip did not open on my computer. Does this sound similar?

yeah, you know a tire is "loud" when you suspect gearbox whine when in fact, its only the tread lol. i didnt find the nt01 to be dramatically noisy, and its even quieter now that my 1st set of rears is about "done". i'd get em again. ( now that i figured out to run a lower ( for me ) psi! thx to powder for THAT info. ha! )

Nope.
Mine much noisier....and sorry you could not play the clip.
Not sure if it has anything to do w/the Mustang having both rollers fore & aft of the wheel?
Anyway......I went to visit my car yesterday. Went for a quick drive and yes, same ole familiar noise that I endure driving to Rd America or BHk Farms.
I'd hauled my street 19s out there...we threw them on and went for a drive. Quiet as can be.
So.....99.9% sure it's the NT01s...that are half-way through their life......on a Mustang Dyno.

Thanks all for your feedback all....continuing to proceed w/a dyno assisted Cobb tune.
