Default Securing underbody cooling lines?

I was tracking down a rattle and noticed these unsecured lines (coolant lines?) that cross over right under the transmission.

It looks like they attach to the bracket right above them, but looks like maybe a part is missing? How do these lines secure? Going to go with some heavy zip ties if I can't figure out a better way...

Anybody know how these are supposed to be secured?

When I took the engine out for pipes welding I have used tie wraps in many locations. Some of the line where chafing against each other and also rattling...

Thanks... your first picture looks like it has an extra piece that was holding it against the body standoff, but it sounds like it wasn't doing the job anyway, so zip-ties it is!

Looks like your bracket for the lines is broken (part #999 507 700 41). It's supposed to look like this:

Thanks... Exactly the info I was looking for. Zip ties for now, but I'll order some extra clips for the next time I have the belly pan off...

Might stop rattles, but isn't it hard to drive if the car is sideways? Seriously though, I'm not sure what you are trying to show with your pic...

Looks like it might actually be 999.507.701.02, u-clamp 14X18X24.5, $0.12? Or at least needed in addition to a new hose holder...

hose holder is #7, u-clamp is #8.

I don't think so... #8 looks like a metal clip that goes in the rectangular hole of the bracket to make the hose holder fit more tightly. I think #7 is the hose holder and I think your holder has the top tab which connects to the bracket snapped off. Looks like #8 has been superseded to #99950770101. From your picture, seems to me like you will need both the hose holder and the metal clip. Actually, took another look at your picture and can't really see the top of the hose holder. Is the top clip portion of the holder still there?

that i used 997 turbo panels to flat bottom the entire underside of the car and keep things like tabs breaking from debris and add downforce. your fix is simple. tie wrap them and cover them. when it is time to drop the trans you cut the ties drop the lines down leave them connected and drop the trans. ez peazy

I might have overthought this problem just a bit.

A few zip ties on each mount, secure and tidy... The loose part was already under plastic panels, so should be good for a while. Pretty sure it was the rattle I was looking for!

No problem moving the thread in a different direction... It was a pretty trivial question and was quickly answered! thanks all.
