Don't even want to know what this paint job cost, but man the attention to detail is above and beyond.

Never understood the advice to use the badge since thats not where the latch is...

yeah, but it is a "center" point and low enough on the hood so it wont "bend" the metal of the hood itself with repeated closures. given that either side is prone to "bending" resulting in an inequal fit at the adjusters from pressing at the sides(?). the latch is just below the emblem, so it seems like a good "pressure point" to me.

Don't use the badge, you'll screw up the attachment screw and the badge will loosen or fall off.

The video above is correct (although I don't use my fingers...LOL)

This also applied to the rear hatch as well. Hence...many people just drop the rear hatch and crack's their light brackets.
