Default Interior coach work

Anyone ever do work on their interior? Recovering door panels and dash?

Thinking on a new project and want to see what has been done to improve interior

yes.
I just learned to use Acetone to clean to sticky goo of my radio button. Taped off radio console, used cotton swabs and cloth with Aceton. The sticky goo came right off and buttons are like new. :-)

I bought a bunch of interior parts from an early 996 which had a savannah interior. I then removed the savannah leather to use as a template and covered the parts in some black alcantara. So I did the centre console, the panels on the centre console. The door map box cover, the door handles.

I also had matching shift level boot and handbrake cover made. Then finally treated it to a FF shift ****.

I really love it. PM me for some further detail

I've done a bunch for clients but none on my personal car. Long term goal/project is to find a spare pair of door panels and construct a set of RS style door pull door panels. Likely going to require building a jig to hold the panels in place while the center section is removed.... looking forward but also not looking forward to that one....

Finding second hand leather door cards is not difficult, but they are usually black.
The same goes for the centre console, though I bought a used one and had it painted the same colour as the exterior.
The most difficult to change is the dash itself, especially if you have to remove it to replace the material or change colour.

you should spend some time on the Ferrari forums......................
they talk endlessly about sticky interior bits.

i used 100% isopropanol on my 360 bits.

Previous owner had the seat backs of my OEM clubsport shells painted midnight blue to match the exterior, and had a handwrapped/stitched leather cover put on the clubsport rollbar. It's fancy.
