Default Word of Caution?

Some dealers encourage their customers to take their cars to the track, is it really to help the customers learn how to drive and be safe with them or is it really to help out service by helping to remove cars from being covered under warranty?

How is it in the Dealers interest to "void" your warrenty? What benift would it be for the Dealer to "void" your warrenty?

Interesting subject,.......

I wonder if participation in the Porsche Driving Experience at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham with your own car voids the warranty,.......

This issue promises to get very complicated over the next several months and even if its resolved, the PR damage to PCNA and Porsche A.G. is quite serious.

some dealers suck.
the place i bought my car from has an ahole service advisor. when i complained about rattle, "it's normal. and your car is one of the quietest"... gee, i am sorry, but i have 3 996's and some are quiet others are not. my current dealer takes care of everything well. from the tire patch, they knew i tracked the car, but they still did RMS, replaced engine, and warranted just about everything i had complains on. find a dealer that understands what these cars are for....
