Are you still interested or did you buy another car? Any idea how long they have had it? Track time or just driven hard by previous owner?

I bought another car so I am no longer in the market. (Once I got the PPI results I called and told them I was no longer interested. Found my current car a couple of weeks later)

Its been for sale for several months. Originally priced in the mid-70s I think.

I could not find any service history on it, or records from the prior owner (Selling dealer did not have anything) so its tough to tell if its been tracked.

Dealers will not release original records to new owners if they contain previous owner information. Sort of like HIPPA compliance.

FWIW, the car at Porsport sold for "the money". I looked at that one and it was indeed an "open checkbook" cherry. All the CS mods were done beyond factory level using factory parts including new
carpets with the cut outs and plugs for the Heinzman fire bottle (removable).

I have intimate knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and all other flavors! Get the owner (before you complete the purchase) to have SA's email you all Redacted Service Records. So, all personal, actionable information has been deleted or blacked out i.e. all Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (SPII) has been expunged. That way, you have perfect records to keep. That's assuming it's a one-owner Porsche and the owner approves sending you the records. If multiple owners then it's more challenging of course.

FYI..
Electronic Communications Privacy Act, 18 USC 2510-2521
Graham-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999 (GLBA)

This one looks very interesting... The weak Canadian versus US Dollar is only thing keeping me from going for this. Good luck with the sale!

Like Martin, I went through a lot of back and forth on parting with mine. Ive driven 911s from different vintages, even a couple of air cooled hot rods. I’ve had it 10 years, longer than anything I’ve owned. I may regret it but don’t drive it as much the last couple years and put it on BAT. PM me any questions or follow along the auction for a gauge of the market.

Another 996 GT3 popped up on BaT. It’s track prepped and looks to be pretty well optioned. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...he-911-gt3-15/

Will be interesting to see what that car referenced in the post above fetches on BAT. Pretty unique exterior color, and very unique interior (I think like 11-12 cars total for NA). Track mods will put some people off, but mileage is good, but prior accident and noted substandard paint work is definitely a con. Miss mine. (regular black/natural brown).

Agreed. ‘Best that I can tell, there were only 2 cars made for NA with this exterior/interior combo. WP0AC29934S692760 is the other one.

that car gets around ....like a record. I looked at that car when I bought mine 7 years ago and it’s beem for sale at least twice since. It’s aleays traded hands pretty cheap.
