The one off ‘99 Club Coupe is going up for auction at no reserve. Has a 996.2 GT3 engine, suspension, and brakes.

Saw that cars debut about this time last year while at Amelia. I think I may try to tune in and watch the auction online.

Looks like a great car. I wonder how it drives? It would be interesting to know what they spent on it and if it's something available to other customers.

I built this same car.... roughly, for myself. I used a wrecked gt3. Their exterior details r better and the engine is new becuase they had an unlimited budget. I left the sinroof because i didnt want to deal with the pulling the glass but thats an easy transition. It drives and tracks great. Just like a real gt3 with a few extra pounds. I did it for about 150hrs of my labor and about $20k net on parts.

i have not read the full description on that car, but that final number is a bit disappointing. i thought that car should have brought $100k or more before fees. it's not far off, but that feels like a bit of a drop off marketwise with that mileage.

The fact that it lived in Puerto Rico didn't help. They get their fair share of hurricanes. Pic. #158 was a total turn off.

80k mile black car in the marketplace. Theft recovery, wing replacement, turbo twists, no DME and not much in the way of service records. Asking price seems a bit rich with all of that in mind. What do you guys think?

Yeah, maybe a tad high for all the items but none of them really that concerning aside from lack of service details. On the other hand, if you want a car right now , the next cheapest one has 45k miles with a $120 ask.

not a heavily optioned car, but $165k for an 11k mile GT3 that appears to be in very nice condition doesn't seem horrible. the market has brought more for that mileage range.

the marine blue/can can red 3.2 is stunning though! what a great color combo. not for everyone, but i think it works extremely well. not cheap.

this one is being delivered to me next week, super excited to get it and put the original wheels back on and restore the exterior. I had a PPI done and spoke to the mechanic who has worked on it the past 9 years, the car is well sorted out. The only suggested maintenance outstanding was hood struts 😊

Seems like you got a great deal. Were the original wheels included?
