Default Fender flairs on a 6 GT3?

Hi All,

Is there a tasteful way to get some small flairs on the rear of a 6GT3. small is perhaps 1-1.5"

I would prefer something that looks like the original car - just a bit wider... Also would prefer something that will not destroy the value of the car...

Pictures and / or pointers welcome.

Thanks

Ray

RUF has a minimalistic flare kit. Not sure where to get it, but I'm guessing it's pricey.

What about the 996 RSR flairs - although those may be a bit large.

The RUF stuff is good - but I would prefer something that is blended and would require a second look to realize that there is something there...

Thanks

Oh yeah, the RSR kit totally blends in. Barely noticeable.

You are correct - I went and looked after I typed that and realized this was clearly a case of me typing before thinking...

That ruf kit is nice. It's hard to pull off a nice wide body look on the 996.

What I am looking for is that 356 Outlaw look where the fenders are pulled, but still look good, not bulbous - and THIS time I looked at pictures BEFORE I typed :-)

I seem to have a collection of suspension parts that have pushed the rears out by ~ 1"

Take a look at the C4S 996. It has body dimensions similar to a Turbo, without the air inlets in the rear.

Getty Design and others offer 1" wider molded front fenders that are basically what you are looking for. Nothing for the rear is going to be easy though.

Flared Fender 2003-2005
$1,079.00 - FRP
$1,559.00 - CF
+ 1″ wider replacement fenders. Direct bolt on for “new” headlight cars.
Priced per pair.

The RUF stuff pictured above is sourced from Cargraphic I believe. Not subtle but a friend of mine has them on his car and they did allow for 10/12" wheels to fit under the car without issue.

Cargraphic has a kit. Helped them win the German tuner challenge with 9.5 front and 12 inch wide rear wheels. Although, I'm pretty sure you can stuff those wheels without flairs, just with different offsets, of course.

I'm not a fan of the front bumper cover, but surprisingly, I like the "bolt on" flares.
