One more question is if you can run 275’s with the 9.5” is the reason why you went 10” wide rims up front because you wanted to stretch the 275’s more for an even more ideal fit? For a 10” up front then that’s when other suspension parts need to be added like LCA’s etc, whereas for a 9.5” rim you can just do what you said above on OEM suspension?
The 9.5 is really ideal for a 255-265 but you can fit some 275 on there which are not too wide for their size. A 997Cup runs a 275/645 Pirelli DH on a 18x9.5 but only a 25/65 Michelin or 250/650 Yoko slick because they run wide. A wider wheel is always better because you ideally want the tire to fit square or slightly stretched. That is why I run an 18x10 et37. I can fit Pirelli DH 275, Yoko 250/650, but more importantly the 27/65 Michelin slick which requires a 10-11" wheel.

With the 18x10, you need to do everything that you need to fit the 9.5 but also need the upper strut mounts in the high camber configuration and pushed all the way inboard in the upper slots. You then set your camber via shims in the LCAs. I also use Cup steering angle limiters to prevent any rubbing on the inside at large steering angles. It's not necessary if you remember you can't go lock to lock otherwise you will rub on the upper cooling ducts. I have also tightly rolled the front fender and loosened the upper fender bolts to make sure the fenders are fully pushed outboard to give me as much fender to tire clearance as possible.

Here is a pic of the 18x10 et37 with Pirelii DH 275/645 and 18x12.5 et31 with 315/680. Camber is -4.5 front and -3.8 rear

Here are the same spec wheesl with a Yokohama A005 in a 250/650 front and 300/680 rear. You can see the 250s fit nice and square on the 18x10s.

This is a Yokohama A005 250/650 (approx equivalent width of a 265/35 road tire, but taller) on a 9 inch wide rim.

I am currently running -4.5 camber with approx 86mm front ride height and whilst it fits under the fender, the liners cop a beating. This is with the strut tops in a middle setting. They need to go in further to clear properly.

0288274 18 x 9.5 et43 (1.5/8)
0288108 18 x 11.5 et58 (2.5/9)

Double checking if the above is ok? I know the fronts are fine (same as what was stated above) but the rear uses the 108 face instead of the 107 and theoretically puts the wheel 3mm toward the outside (vs the 107 face at et 61).

Any et between 58 and 63 will be fine. I run a fair amount of camber so i have plenty of room on my et60 apex wheels. Even if the wheels were straight i cant see how et58 would be an issue.

Nice! So basically it would be like your car except .25" wider on both sides of the wheel.

about that i guess... i have some elephant spacers from my air cooled car to try to move them out a few mm each for a better fitment for the street.

placed initial order 10/2022

but at no fault to BBS I did change the spec a few times. My rep told me it wouldn’t have changed the delivery time but I seem to think I did cause delays.

overall very happy. Trying to get the BBI built GT2 look…

Im sure they do. I run a 24t nt-01 track tire on 8.5" oz wheels. U may have to play with the offset (or add spacers) and they may rub on the liners depending on your ride height and alignment
