Thanks! The e36 is insane fun as you know, and for a nervous Nellie like me much more fun to track since I'm not constantly stressing about breaking something or putting it into a wall. Oh yeah, and my talent level isn't quite ready for a gt3 at fast speeds on the track, as this pic indicates!

Nice choice in track cars, btw. I have a '98 m3 with an s54 that is sublime on the track.

LOL

If only it was that easy to pick up a free M2

You have probably seen it, but there is a nice one in the classifieds that fits your requirements.

Holy Crap! I hadn't seen it! That is literally EXACTLY what I'm looking for...except for color. I just don't love silver and I want to keep this forever, so I really have to hold out for a color I like I think. It really is perfect though...even has pccb's which I love for the street and lack of brake dust. So wish I loved silver!

That silver car posted in the classifieds the other day sold in 1 day. I missed getting to it. I called seller, talked about car, sounded awesome, but a guy had already got it in for PPI and bought it following.

:-(

Back in the fold and literally could not be happier. Just drove it back from L.A to Phoenix late last night and I'm in love with the car (all over again). Huge thanks to Josh (Lax01) for the perfectly smooth transaction and for letting me buy it back!!! (Seriously great guy!!!). Such a hoot to drive, and actually better than I remember. More pics after I get it cleaned up from the rainy drive but here is a quick one I snapped just outside riverside during a pit stop.

No epic pics of the water beeding on the paint? At least there was enough wax on their to protect the car on the drive home! Should be easy to wash!

Glad you are happy with it! And at least someone will actually drive it!

Yup! And couldn't be happier about it! Josh didn't just maintain it, he improved it in many, many ways. He added euro seats, rss bar, harnesses, a titanium exhaust, and a bunch of tarrett suspension bits as well. He even did a color correction do it actually looks better than when I had it! Before I sold it I did the pipe pinning fix, 996 gt3 rs lwfw kit with pulley, headers, rs motor mounts. I'm ecstatic with the condition, feel, power, everything. Thanks again josh! No water beeding pics!

Oh and I just passed you ownership of my ridiculous OCD Google Doc with all the records of fuel fill-ups and maintenance...

Enjoy the car Scott!
