Default GT3s - Multi Purpose fun

Last weekend I spent two days in lovely Rosamond CA with PCA GPX region at Streets of Willow.

This weekend the 3 was loaded with a bicycle and skydiving gear.

Today, just a mellow DD to work.

I like this.

How about you?

Nice looking bike. I love the older bikes (have a few that get regular use, and some that are for special occasion only) I need to get the roof rack for mine, otherwise seem to need to completely dissemble the bike to get it in the car as the roll bar gets in the way.

What is on your car?

Thanks for asking.
That is a 1983 3 Rensho.
Came with funky Dura Ace Aero grouppo, now has a mix of late 90's Campy Chorus / record.

Check the <Need Nittos thread> re Rays wheels.

This is the bike rack to buy, but $1500.00!!!!!!!!

3Rensho, gotta say I am not very familiar with the Japanese bikes. Yours looks looks nice. Ishiwata tubing I suppose?
I did have a 1970 Fuji S10S but that is hardly in the same league.

Gotta love that era of bikes, so much to like in my opinion.

I have two of the proper Porsche race bike roof rack mounts made by Oris if anyone is interested. These days they only do the shoddy one that grabs the middle of the frame and will damage carbon bikes.

Nice, hopefully you go uphill faster than Heiden did!
Two buddies I rode with had those same frames back in the Bob Roll days. The Lowenbrau classic here would bring Hampsten, Nitz, etc to town for a cool circuit race.

Hardly, but it is a great riding bike. Bobke's bike was on eBay a while back, I missed winning the bid due to some shenanigans.

interesting
I had the opportunity to buy Bobke's 7-11 Dura Ace equipped frame ~ 20 months ago when the owner was downsizing and moving to CT.
I snoozed, I loozed.

I guess the guy that bought it took it to ebay....................
fracking flippers...............
