+2 I first thought they were possibly the Manthey doors with built in crash bars but looking more closely at his pictures they appear to be cup doors.

Yes there are 996 Cup doors 100% CF in good Quality....
The 996 Chassis can Handle easy 500hp , ist pure fun to drive the small 996 Chassis with 500hp , it's so honest to drive and in the right Hands fast to.

The 996 chassis can handle a lot more then 500hp with ease and will dispatch just about anything on the road with the right driver. This is a stunning car you have here! Love it!

I love everything about this car. I really wanted a red one when I started my quest and this solidifies why. What a great example with some of the best of the best parts.
That clubsport cage is the icing on the cake. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with just that lower bar for side protection with the cup doors but everything about the car still makes me drool.
Problem with cup doors at US track days is normally windows need to be all the way up or all the way down. The cup door with windows presents an issue with not being able to give passing signals (should you have to ), and the cup doors with just the frame and no window mean it's impossible to keep the car dry should you encounter a storm.
I wish I would have bought John's CF Manthey doors when they were still availble. I think they ended up on Matt Muller's car

Nope, not my car. My car still has its factory doors on it, with Cargraphic door cards I got from John. I would love some CF doors on it, maybe one day.

Hajo, great, thanks for info. What a machine! Do you have locks working with the Cup doors? I know guys with those doors on their street cars but none of them have locks...I would like to have some locks when visiting hotels etc on track day trips.
P.S. I would definitely add bit more side bars to the cage. But funny that "point-by" passing rule and open windows. If I ever end up in USA I would hate that, I would not have time to wait and I would hate driving open windows
John's doors were actually Cargrapic doors, although all German tuners Manthey, Cargraphic, Techart etc. provide these doors - according to pictures I have seen I think they are all the same and come from a French CF specialist (maker of many Porsche OEM CF parts) called D. Moris, http://www.dmoris-styling.com/eng/li...bodyparts.html - let me know I may have a good deal available if interested in them. The good deal may also require my order though...
I was also trying to buy the famous John doors, but they (plus the cf fenders from him) got sold to my neighbor in Finland to a similar Turbo I have - out of all places!
